Embodied Threads · The Repertoire

Adapted for the Stage

Beloved stories, reimagined as ballets — forty-five minutes to an hour, tailored for children and performed by children. Creativity, community, and compassion, given a stage.

Bringing Stories to Life

Each year, we take a familiar tale — a story the children already love — and transform it into a magical ballet experience, blending storytelling with the artistry of dance. The familiarity is the point: when a child already knows the story, they are free to discover what their body can say about it.

And the performances do not end at the theater. Our young dancers carry their ballets into the community — to local nursing homes, schools, and other cherished spaces — bringing joy where it is needed and learning, early, that art is something you give.

A story the children already love,
told in the language they are learning:
the body.

The Productions

Through these ballets, we nurture young dancers,
enrich our community — and remember
the joy that storytelling and dance bring to life.
