Symbolic literacy is a skill, not a belief. This is where it is taught.
Nothing here will tell you who you are. A dictionary of meanings can produce an interpretation for anything, which is exactly the problem — a system that explains everything has told you nothing.
What is taught instead is harder and more useful: the capacity to notice recurring relationships without collapsing correspondence into causation, or a description into the thing it describes.
